Synopsis

⁣Inspired by Slavic mythology and folklore, the film tells the story of the soul of a young woman reborn as Rusalka, a water nymph. Rusalka´s inability to accept her own fate and the desire for the warmth of the human heart lead her to the world of the living, to which, unfortunately, she is unable to adapt.

About Director

⁣Lucie Vostárková is a graduate of the Master's program in Animated Film at FAMU. She completed her Bachelor's studies at UTB in Zlín. During her studies, she participated in a study exchange at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem and was involved in the development of the film Moje Slunce Mad.
