Synopsis

About Director

⁣Armine Anda is an Armenian Director, Writer, Actress and Producer. She is the recipient of Orange Armenia Book Award for her novel “The Inhabitants of Ankimure”, the first high fantasy novel written in Armenian, which was published with her illustrations. The films written and produced by her had many selections receiving various awards. “The Song of Flying Leaves” (2023), the first animation she also directed, has 70+ selections receiving 15 awards, the Armenian National Film Academy Award for “Best Animated Film” among them. With her films and books Armine Anda reflects upon the connection between imagination and empathy.
