Synopsis

⁣The Paper Minotaur takes care of the maze of books. In his office there is an electronic board. It shows the number of readers who are currently reading a book. No readers means death to the book. Book's lives are at stake.
Books can change readers's lifes, but readers can influence the existence of literary characters too.

About Director

⁣Maria Nikolova is a Bulgarian writer and film director. She directed the children’s TV shows “Fairy tales about physics”, “Fairy tales about astronomy” and “Hello, Mr. Jasmin”, broadcasted by Bulgarian National TV, the short films “Yellow Dog” and “Robbery”, the documentaries “The Magic Mirror of Lyuben Zidarov”, “DAGA – Stories in Pictures”, “Lucifer” and the short animation “Three Birds”. She has several international prizes as a screenwriter and director. “The Paper Minotaur” is her second animated film.
