About Director

⁣Louis Fourel is a french artist and director born in 1996. After a DMA animation cinema in Cournon d'Auvergne he graduated from the animation section of the national school of decorative arts in Paris. During his studies, he diversified his drawing practice, learning in particular the techniques of engraving and printing in monotype and developed a more experimental approach to animation and staging, while retaining figurative motifs close to contemporary illustration. His work addresses themes such as the relationship of upset tenderness between humans and the living world, the feeling of powerlessness in face of capitalism and a flight through dreams and/or collective work.
