About Director

⁣Since childhood I was interested in the culture of the peoples of the North and Far East, especially since my great-grandmother hails from the small town of Ust-Kamchatsk in Kamchatka. And the summer before I started my graduation film, I first visited Kamchatka myself.
I was very impressed by the harsh beauty of these lands. There I had a close acquaintance with the legends of the indigenous peoples of Kamchatka. This was the inspiration for my film "Kutkh and the Sun".
