Synopsis

⁣Vampire, thirsty for blood, flies around a small Balkan village in search of his next victim. He sneaks in a dark bedroom, after he saw a silhouette of a young beauty. It turns out the silhouette belongs to an old granny. The almost blind granny takes the vampire for her goth teenager grandson. The loving care of the granny turns out to be deadly for the vampire.

About Director

⁣Kristian Zahariev is born in Samokov, Bulgaria in 1999. He graduates in The Animation bachelor’s degree in NATFA “Krastyo Sarafov”. In 2024 he continues with a master’s degree in “Animation directing” again in NATFA. Graduating with his diploma short film “GARLIC SOUP”. He takes part in many animation workshops and masterclasses (some of them by world famous directors like Jiri Barta, Coke Riobbo, Raymond Krume and Theodore Ushev).
In 2021 he is part of the “IYDA: THE 1ST INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DIGITAL ART EXHIBITION”, taking place in Taiwan, in category: Experimental film.
He is interested in the mixing of different animation techniques and likes to experiment. He starts drawing from a very early age, he goes to many Art lessons. In 2017 he gets inspired to study animation, after going to the Animation lessons for future students in NATFA “Krastyo Sarafov”
