⁣A hallucinatory journey through an abstract cave, Echo Cave follows the shifting motion of stones as they guide the viewer through a surreal space. Blurring the boundaries between the physical and the digital, the film explores illusions of matter and memory through hypnotic rhythms and AI-generated textures.

About Director

⁣We are students from the MFA of Creative Media at the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong. Echo Cave is our first experimental animation. As a collective, we are interested in the intersection of AI imagery and abstract visual storytelling. Our creative practice involves collaborative worldbuilding using generative tools, motion design, and audiovisual composition. With backgrounds in design, media art, and animation, we aim to explore new visual languages through hybrid techniques and speculative aesthetics.
