About Director

⁣Izabella Retkowska (born 1974). As a long-time graphic artist and creative photographer, she has been mainly devoted to digital art since 2011. In her experimental video productions, she goes beyond the formal boundaries of traditional audiovisual communication, searching for cinema that takes aesthetic risks. The image sequences create a hypnotic atmosphere and evoke emotional introspection and inner questions about the human mind, identity, memory and are intended to provoke questions about the nature of perception itself. Her works works have been presented in numerous festivals and artistic events around the world e.g.;
