Results of the film selection<\/h3>\n

We are glad to share with you the results of the selection of the films for the festival programs.<\/p>\n

In total, almost\u00a01,500 applications<\/strong>\u00a0were submitted for the films selection.<\/p>\n

All festival programs include\u00a0347 animated shorts from 63 Countries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

184 shorts were selected for the competition programs of the festival.<\/strong><\/p>\n

49 shorts were included in the\u00a0«Storyline films»\u00a0<\/strong>competition program.
\n29 shorts were included in the\u00a0«Experimental animation»<\/strong>\u00a0competition program.
\n39 shorts were included in the\u00a0«Student films»<\/strong>\u00a0competition program.
\n23\u00a0shorts were included in the\u00a0«Musical Motives»<\/strong>\u00a0competition program.
\n44 shorts were included in the\u00a0«Human Factor»<\/strong>\u00a0competition program.<\/p>\n

The following programs are judged by the jury and the editorial board of the festival:<\/strong><\/p>\n

112 shorts were selected for the Out-of-competition programs of the festival.<\/strong><\/p>\n

48 shorts were included in the\u00a0«Storyline films»<\/strong>\u00a0Out-of-competition program.
\n20 shorts were included in the\u00a0«Experimental animation»<\/strong>\u00a0Out-of-competition program.
\n44 works were included in the\u00a0«Student films»<\/strong>\u00a0Out-of-competition program.<\/p>\n

Beautiful student shorts program from France by ECV — Creative Schools & Community provided by a distribution company Yummy Films —\u00a0«Student Films by ECV»<\/strong><\/p>\n

An interesting and varied program of student films from Taiwan by\u00a0National Yunlin University of Science and Technology —\u00a0«Taiwan Film Program»<\/strong><\/p>\n

A retrospective of experimental animation by Eric Leiser —\u00a0«Eric Leiser’s Experimental Shorts»<\/strong>.\u00a0Eric Leiser is an award-winning artist, experimental filmmaker, animator and holographer working in New York and born in California. An alumni of CalArts Experimental Animation program, he creates intricate works of film, sculpture, holography and painting along with film installation integrating animation, painting, sculpture, holography and live perfor-mance.<\/p>\n
