In 2009, the Joan Brossa Archive uncovered a folder titled “Joan Ponç” containing eleven texts that reveal the relationship between two major Catalan artists of the 20th century.
This animated film piece brings together Brossa’s texts and Ponç’s paintings, reflecting their collaboration in the years following the Spanish Civil War.
Suite Ponç-Brossa is a journey into the past, a work of found painting, a videopoem avant la lettre.
